The Anonymous Revolutionary, 2015

This blog, which began last January, is now almost a year old. To mark the end of 2015, WordPress prepared a review of The Anonymous Revolutionary’s activities over the past year, and I thought I’d make it public for anyone who’s interested.

You may be glad to know a surprising number of people seem to at least sympathise with this website’s ideas – a feat I couldn’t have foreseen living in the western world!

THE REPORT

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2015 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

The concert hall at the Sydney Opera House holds 2,700 people. This blog was viewed about 19,000 times in 2015. If it were a concert at Sydney Opera House, it would take about 7 sold-out performances for that many people to see it.

  1. Congratulations Max – what an amazing set of figures! It is a huge achievement to write a weekly blog, let alone to have provoked so much discussion & debate. Well done YOU.

  3. Yes that’s very good going, just adding my congratulations!
(Just listening to Andrew Marr on R4 Start the Week this morning reviewing several really interesting books about Russia including Ostrovsky’s ‘The Invention of Russia’, which you might find interesting. Its available to ‘play again’ via the beeb website.)
    Happy Birthday blog!
    Best wishes

  5. That is pretty impressive! I love reading your blog; having given up on mainstream papers & broadcasts my ‘news’ & analysis comes mainly from blogs now & yours is one of the best! I look forward to what you have to say in 2016! Wishing you all the best

  6. Congratulations on your One Year Anniversary, Max.
Can you write another post on Jeremy Corbyn?
I read your “Communism, not Corbynism (posted on September 18, 2015)” and wonder if you have any new thoughts on him since then.
Now that he seems to be consolidating his position in the Labour Party, and continues to attract new members, maybe his (and your) views are increasingly finding a bigger place in British political life – and he could surprise in the next General Election?
    Thanks
